Blownforgood.com is a website that hosts stories of those who had the courage to leave Scientology no matter what the costs.

When you are on staff or even a member of Scientology and you leave without authorization, this is called a blow. Anyone who leaves is referred to as “blown.”

Often times, when someone blows they are gotten back into the organization and convinced to stay. These people are referred to as “recovered.” There are however, those who blow and never go back. These people are blown for good.

The worldwide operation of Scientology is run by a group called the Sea Organization. It is estimated that there are currently around 5,000 Sea Org members worldwide. It is also estimated that there are 25,000 ex-sea org members worldwide. Many of these people have experiences that others could learn from.

Blownforgood.com is collecting the stories of staff and members who have left. Each story should contain what positions the person held while employed by the church and how and why they left. We will also accept stories from members that were involved with Scientology and did not ever become employed by the organization. With more and more members leaving recently, it is very useful to hear why people are leaving and how they did so.

The Scientology organization has openly stated that they do not practice fair game tactics. They have also openly stated that they do not practice the policy of disconnection. Based on this, we will publish these stories so that the truth of what happens within the organization can be seen by one and all.

Many people think that there are things that will happen to them if they speak out or reveal things that happened to them while under the employ of the scientology organization.  In most cases these are myths. In more recent cases, staff have left and spoken out and little to nothing has come of it.

Groups such as Anonymous have drained the organization of their external resources and they simply do not have time to deal with each and every staff member that leaves and speaks out. Anonymous has managed to circumvent the main tool scientology has long used to silence critics – threats.

In the end, threats are simply that, threats. In most cases, threats made are backed by no action and solely done to silence persons who would otherwise document the horrors and wrongs that were committed against them. Also in most cases, when someone leaves and speaks the truth as to what happened to them, there is little that can be done to silence them.

If someone who submits a story to blownforgood.com is in fact fair gamed in any way or if family members are directed to disconnect from them, these attempts will be made widely known.

We live in a time where people should be allowed to leave a group that they feel has done them wrong and not be punished for doing so. Any and all persons are welcome to submit their stories to be posted here.
